Microwave drier allows to dry and examine drying process of refractory materials and others utilizing microwave-convective method. Process is conducted in a chamber using hot ait and additionally empowered by microwave energy coming from specific microwave radiator. Mutual microwave and hot air improve drying and therefore cuts down process time by several times.

Device is a rectangular shape chamber in which carriage whith drying material is moved by reciprocating motion. Operator is able to modify the rate of this move on panel. Microwave energy come from 6 microwave generators and is brought into the chamber through specially projected microwave radiators.
Measured parameters:

  • inlet and outlet air temperature,
  • temperature of the surface of drying materials in 5 diffrent places.
