The plasma system is designed for enriching water with nitrogen. As a result of the air contacting the strongly unbalanced plasma and UV radiation, active forms of nitrogen in the form of nitrogen oxides are created. The resulting gas mixture is compressed into water. Nitrogen oxides, upon absorption in water, convert into nitrate and nitrite ions – the main source of nitrogen in fertilizers.
