Plasma Corona Pasteurizer

The research station for generating corona and barrier plasma is designed for the pasteurization of food products. The device has been designed and built for Meat Industry Plants. The plasma pasteurizer utilizes the effect of so-called cold plasma on food products, which reduces microbiological contaminants. In the laboratory set with corona plasma, the plasma is generated at atmospheric pressure in the presence of air. Plasma discharge occurs under the influence of high voltage, resulting in the generation of free electrons and gas ions. Both ions and electrons falling on the meat sample cause denaturation of bacteria and viruses on the meat surface. During plasma emission, ozone is also generated, which also contributes to the reduction of pathogens. High-voltage power supplies produced by Our Company are used to generate corona plasma.
